I remember vividly 16 months ago when my little darling Nyla was placed in our arms ... The feeling was overwhelming.

I spent the first few weeks focussing on her 24/7 . But 4 months later the time came for me to go back to work. It was a whole new professional life for me. After having worked for 10 years with my career being a primary focus I now had to not only had to look after Nyla but also focus on my work. Very early on I realized that I was not willing to comprise on either and so had to find a balance and get creative in my life style. My husband has been extremely supportive encouraging me to excel both as a Mom and as a Professional.

Nyla is now 2 1/2 years old and an absolute delight ... sometimes not so delightful !!! She goes to a day care and I think enjoys every minute of it. She has her favorite friends and teachers who she likes to hang out with. Favorite friends list may change on a weekly basis.

I would like to share my ideas with you and invite you to do the same. My aim .. "Working Mom with a Smile".
